I’m leaving for Europe in t-minus 10 hours!!

I’m not sure what to expect from this trip. I’m traveling with the three most wonderfully insane people I know to places we’ve mostly never been. I’m staying in slightly seedy places, with a used US Army duffel on my back ($15 dollars, even came with some camo spray paint on it!). And I now have a taste for beer and dancing to bad techno music.

My last trip was more of a wandering tour through quiet little streets. I wasn’t a big drinker back then. I had a boyfriend (ugh). I went with my parents and saw some of the most touristy things you can see (le Tour Eiffel, the Colosseum, The Duomo, etc). It’s going to be so different this time around. Maybe not so much a relaxing jaunt through the cities, maybe more of a little skipping and running and dancing kind of thing.

I am definitely looking forward to getting off that plane and being somewhere so blissfully unfamiliar.
